The Challenge
Hartwell & Briggs faced a due-diligence surge requiring review of 12,000 commercial contracts in ten days. Manual paralegal review at 30 documents per day per person simply could not scale.
Our Solution
We built an LLM document-processing pipeline that chunks contracts, extracts 46 clause types and flags deviations from the playbook. A Next.js review workspace shows extracted clauses side-by-side with source text, and every extraction is grounded with citations for partner verification.
The Results
The pipeline processed all 12,000 contracts in six working days with 98.7% clause-extraction accuracy. Review costs dropped 77%, and the firm now runs the pipeline on every major deal.
