The Challenge
CookNest's 8,000-recipe library rarely surfaced beyond standard blue links, while aggregators owned featured snippets and recipe carousels. Mobile traffic had declined for three consecutive quarters.
Our Solution
We implemented full Recipe structured data with ratings, cook times and nutrition, then rewrote introductions to directly answer how-to queries in 40-55 words. HowTo markup, FAQ blocks and image optimization targeted every available SERP feature across Next.js templates.
The Results
CookNest captured 2,300 featured snippets and rich results within seven months. Mobile organic traffic grew 156% and recipe save-rates from search doubled.
